IMPACT FOR

In 2023, customers who use the SkyRide or A Line to travel to and/or from Denver International Airport pay an Airport fare for a Day Pass or Monthly Pass (which covers Local, Regional and Airport travel).

WHAT IS THE NEW FARE STRUCTURE?

Using customer and community feedback, RTD has created a new fare structure.

The new structure lowers fares for all customers and simplifies the fare structure by combining Local and Regional fares while maintaining an Airport fare.

Highlights of the New Fare Structure

Under the new fare structure,

Airport customers pay an Airport fare ($10) for SkyRide and A Line trips that begin or end at Denver International Airport
Any other routes that travel to or from the airport pay the Standard fare ($2.75 for a 3-Hour Pass or $5.50 for a Day Pass.) The Standard fare also includes travel to all Local and Regional routes
One Monthly Pass price ($88) allows customers to travel anywhere, including to and from
the airport

FARE CHANGES FOR AIRPORT CUSTOMERS

Airport customers using the SkyRide or A Line pay:

$0.50 less for a Day Pass
$112 less for a Monthly Pass

That means savings of approximately:

5% on a Day Pass
56% on a Monthly Pass

Frequent Airport customers or employees benefit from the Monthly Pass/fare cap of $88, equivalent to approximately 9 Day Passes (down from 19 in the current structure).
