Currently, customers who travel in 1 or 2 rail zones or who ride one of RTD’s Local bus routes pay a Local fare for a 3-Hour Pass, Day Pass or Monthly Pass (which covers only Local travel).
LOCAL FARE CUSTOMERS
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED FARE STRUCTURE?
Using customer and community feedback, RTD has created a new recommended fare structure.
The recommended structure lowers fares for all customers and simplifies the fare structure by combining Local and Regional fares while maintaining an Airport fare.
Highlights of the Recommended Fare Structure
Local customers can travel on all current Local and Regional routes with the Standard fare ($2.75 for a 3-Hour Pass or $5.50 for a Day Pass)
Customers pay an Airport fare ($10) for SkyRide and A Line trips that begin or end at
Denver International Airport
One Monthly Pass price ($88) allows customers to travel anywhere, including to and from the airport

RECOMMENDED FARE STRUCTURE (FULL FARE)
HOW WILL YOUR FARES CHANGE?
Local customers pay:
$0.25 less per 3-Hour Pass
$0.50 less for a Day Pass
$26 less for a Monthly Pass
That means savings of approximately:
9% on 3-Hour and Day Passes
23% on a Monthly Pass, which covers travel anywhere in the system, including the airport
You may also qualify for new discounts, passes or programs under the recommended fare structure.
